The latest incarnation of the Surface Pro, the Surface Pro 8 has a 13 inch screen using PixelSense that provides edge to edge technology. With a highly capable refresh rate of 120Hz, along with a touch technologies using Flow Touch. SSD storage options start at 128GB, rising to 256GB, 512GB, with a maximum storage of 1TB being available.
Surface Pro X
The Microsoft Surface Pro X is different to the Surface Pro in that it doesn’t use Intel hardware for the processor but is based on ARM architecture. These ARM processors are custom Microsoft processors available either as SQ1 or the SQ2 processor. With the latter being the latest processor on offer.
The graphically capability of the Surface Pro X comes from the Adreno GPU which is available either in the 685 or 690 model.
Microsoft Surface Laptop
The Microsoft Surface Laptop is Microsoft primary laptop offering, a high end laptop designed to provide power and speed in an elegantly designed laptop.
Using a range of processors from AMD and Intel including the AMD Ryzen 5 and 7, along with Intel’s i5 and i7 processors. Memory options range from 8GB and 16GB to as much as 32GB.
The Surface Laptop is available with a 13.5 inch screen or the larger 15 inch screen, with graphic capability from either the Intel Iris or the AMD Radeon GPUs, depending on the processor chipset chosen. Storage options from 256GB to 512GB rising to 1TB are available.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go version is the less powerful version of the Surface Laptop, with the option of an Intel i5 processor only. Along with less memory, starting at 4GB with the option of 8GB.
The Surface Laptop Go display is a 12.4 screen using PixelSense technologies with touch technologies. Storage options are limited to 128GB or 256GB SSD technology.
The Microsoft Surface Pen allows drawing using appropriate software on the Microsoft Surface line of tablets and laptops. These pens have been designed to be easier to hold and use, much in the same way as you would use a normal pen or pencil.
One of the issues many pen like technologies face is the lag between moving the pen to simulate drawing and the time is takes for the image to appear on the screen. Fortunately, the Microsoft Surface Pen includes a co-processor, that greatly helps in alleviating any lag, providing an instant drawing experience.
The Surface Pen is compatible with a number of leading drawing programs including Photoshop to Sketchable and includes note taking apps like Microsoft’s OneNote to whiteboard tools like Collaboard.

Higher spec Surface Keyboard models come with a Finger Print sensor, where instead of using the normal username and password to log into Microsoft Windows. The biometric capability of the Fingerprint sensor can be used.
